Everyday workflows
6 guides · 5 answers
Create your first quote
- Enter the customer, annual case volume, can format, and number of SKUs.
- Choose who supplies the ingredients and packaging. Review processing and delivery assumptions.
- Review the calculated price, margin, capacity requirements, and any approval flags. Sign in to save the quote.
Review pricing assumptions
- Check the published cost book version and whether its rates are illustrative.
- Review material costs and commercial policy before relying on an estimate.
- Use Production capacity to inspect the line assumptions. Saved quote versions keep their cost book snapshot.
Resolve approval flags
- Open a flagged quote from Approvals and review the reasons it needs attention.
- Inspect the price floor, commercial terms, and production constraints.
- An authorized reviewer can record a decision. A pending request is not an approved offer.
Ask the pricing assistant
- Describe the opportunity with volume, format, and sourcing details.
- Ask a follow-up, such as how the price changes at a higher annual volume.
- Open the cited engine run to verify inputs and calculations. Saved leads are available on the Leads page.
Manage customer relationships
- Search by customer name or contact email. The directory is derived from saved quotes.
- Open a customer to review their quote history and current pipeline.
- Use CSV export for the filtered directory. Add new customer details when creating a quote.
Read pipeline analytics
- Choose a date range to narrow the quotes included in the report.
- Review pipeline stages and customer concentration alongside the summary metrics.
- Quoted annual value is not booked revenue. Reports use the latest saved version of up to 200 recently updated quotes.
Common questions
Why can I browse but not save?
The preview workspace is read-only. Sign in to create or update private quotes. If sign-in is not configured, the project owner needs to complete authentication setup.
Are illustrative prices ready to send to a customer?
No. An illustrative cost book is for evaluating the workflow. Confirm rates and assumptions, then resolve any required approvals before making a commercial offer.
Why is a customer missing from the directory?
Customers are grouped from the quotes loaded in your current workspace. Check that a quote exists for that customer and that you are signed into the expected account. The workspace loads up to 200 recently updated quotes.
Does changing the cost book rewrite old quotes?
Saved quote versions retain their cost book snapshot. Review and reprice a quote when you need it to reflect updated assumptions.
What should I do if a connection fails?
Open Settings & integrations and refresh the status. If the database read still fails, ask the project owner to check the integration and environment configuration. Do not share passwords or connection strings.
